Dance drama 'The Orphan of Zhao' in the eyes of creators

This is a plot with historical significance. "The Orphan of Zhao" is a classic tragedy play from the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368), with vast influence in Chinese literary history almost equivalent to "Hamlet" in the West.

How would China National Opera & Dance Drama Theatre reproduce the famous story into a dance drama version, recreating real and touching characters? How to understand the characters in the play?

Stay tuned to "The Orphan of Zhao" interview series, and we'll take you behind the curtains. The series invites director Li Shibo, leading performers Hu Yang, Sun Fobo and Yangyi to share their views on reproducing the classic.
