Gemini meteor shower provides thrills in Ningxia

As the big Gemini meteor shower fell over Helan Mountain National Forest Park in the Ningxia Hui autonomous region during the predawn hours on Tuesday, Qi Yingtao, a photographer from Ningxia, put on his backpack and set out on an adventure to record the exhilarating sight.

He caught the meteors with his camera at around 2 am on Tuesday in the mountains as they streaked from the sky toward the ground.
