Feeding times were gradually reduced to encourage the horses to adjust to a natural environment. In other words, the horses are practicing to be wild again.

"The training center widens the horses' scope of activity to ensure they get more exercise and equip themselves with the skills to better survive in the wild before they are actually released," said Yang Jianming, director of the center.
