1 killed, 14 injured in blast in N China community

At least one person was killed, and 14 others were injured, including two in serious condition, in a blast taking place at a residential community in Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on Monday morning.
A preliminary investigation has indicated that a pipeline gas leak caused the blast, according to a statement released by the city's information office on Monday.
All the wounded have now been sent to a nearby hospital for treatment, said the statement.
Relevant departments are still busy dealing with the aftermath work and related affairs while investigation of the accident is continuing, said the statement.
