Syrian air defenses respond to Israeli attack in Damascus

DAMASCUS - The Syrian air defenses responded to an Israeli attack in the capital Damascus on Saturday, state news agency SANA reported.

The missile attack was launched from inside the occupied territories against positions in the countryside of Damascus, SANA said.

People in the capital said they heard the sound of explosion.

Israel has repeatedly targeted military sites in Syria during the night. This time, the attack took place in daylight.
