18 projects worth 21b yuan signed at China-Germany auto conference

Cooperation agreements worth 21 billion yuan ($3.29 billion) were signed by Changchun automobile industry cluster cities and companies including Dassault Systèmes and Jincheng Group at the 2021 China-Germany Automobile Conference on Oct 19.

The 18 major automobile projects included the Dassault Innovation Center and FAW Mould Co Intelligent Industrial Park projects.

China FAW Group, based in Changchun, Northeast China's Jilin province, has become an automobile giant with annual revenue of 700 billion yuan, ranking 66th in the world's top 500 companies.

By 2025, FAW Group is expected to reach annual sales of 6.5 million vehicles and annual revenue of over 1 trillion yuan.

The Changchun automobile industry cluster cities, including Changchun, Jilin, Siping, Liaoyuan, Songyuan and Baicheng, have jointly planned and implemented 184 cooperative projects this year.
