In the workshop of Jialilian Textile Co Ltd in Moyu county, Hotan prefecture in Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region, Nurbiye Memettohti is engrossed in her work.
She's considered a "star" in the company, as almost every month she has been rated an excellent employee.
Now she is able to send home money every month, which reduces her family's burden as her parents are both farmers, her younger brother is in high school, and her elder brother is in college.
In recent years, Hotan has continued to improve its employment policy to benefit its people, and the increasingly prosperous economy has made young people like Nurbiye the main force for high-quality economic development in southern Xinjiang.
