My China story, through a camera lens
Share - WeChat

I was delighted to be among the winners in a competition organized through China Daily and Bank of China. My contribution was titled "Thirty-four years capturing Beijing through the lens".
After the ceremony I spent much of the day reflecting on those years. Of course, Beijing was and is still a major part of a larger story, the story of China. Presently I am editing and archiving my photography collection, a massive task due to the large number of images shot over a third of a century. They represent to me a very personal story of China, a unique experience that has allowed travel along with numerous work experiences to get close to the country, to try and understand its many complexities and contradictions.
