For her, gender is not important in the job.
"My work is no different from my male colleagues," she said. "I like the job better than office work. I find it meaningful to help put the new technology into use."
Lu is currently leading a new project attempting to use drones to inspect and repair power towers at the same time.
"The project, if works, will ease the manual workload," she added.
