Autumn colors shine in mountains of N China park

The mountains at the National Forest Park of Erlongshitai in Ulaanqab, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, transform into a colorful landscape in autumn.

Leaves of different trees change color and fall at various times, brightening up the forest with a myriad of autumn shades.

The park, which covers an area of more than 27 square kilometers, is located about 60 kilometers away from Hohhot, the capital city of the autonomous region.

Formerly known as the State-owned Manhanshan forest farm, the place received approval in 1993 for the establishment of a national forest park.

It has important environmental value as reserve for medicinal ingredients and a paradise for wild animals.
