Stellah Kambu, a diplomat from Papua New Guinea, was most impressed by the modern qualities of the Chinese capital. "I couldn't imagine Beijing was so developed until I landed last year. It is a world-class metropolis."

She agreed journalists in Beijing should present a true, three-dimensional and comprehensive China to the outer world.

The event was jointly held by the All-China Journalists Association and the information office of the Beijing government to celebrate the upcoming Mid-Autumn Festival, which falls on Tuesday this year. Dozens of foreigners, including journalists and press officers of foreign embassies in China, attended the party.
