With its last three patients discharged on Monday, Jiangsu province has cleared all locally transmitted COVID-19 cases that arose during the recent rash of outbreaks, the Jiangsu Health Commission said on Tuesday.

Since July 20, the province reported 820 locally transmitted cases, with 235 in Nanjing, 570 in Yangzhou, 12 in Huai'an and three in Suqian.

It still has six imported cases being treated at designated hospitals, the health commission said.
