Watch it again: Meeting on global effort to tackle environment issues
An international advisory body releases its annual report on Friday, in a move to help the Chinese government's policymaking on global cooperation in environmental protection.
The China Council for International Cooperation on Environment and Development (CCICED) is holding its annual conference Sept 7 to 10, with forums covering a range of topics, including biodiversity, marine environmental protection and green technology.
Founded in 1992 with the approval of the State Council, the CCICED is a high-level international advisory body.
