Inner Mongolia a sweet spot for bee breeding

Beekeeper Wang Xinchang and his wife have been following bees around the country, looking for an ideal environment for breeding them, and now they've found a sweet spot for their business. During July and Autumn, the couple travel to Wuchuan county, Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and set up bee boxes close to a large expanse of blooming sunflowers.
"The high temperature in the South is not good for bee breeding, so we usually start traveling to northern areas at the end of June," Wang said.
Three years ago, the couple came to Wuchuan and discovered the perfect place for their endeavors.
"There is a big difference between the temperature during the day and night in Wuchuan, creating a high degree of humidity which is good for bee breeding and pollen collection," he said.
Every day, Wang makes his rounds, collecting honey and pollen and checking on the bees' activity.
"The pollen of sunflowers in Wuchuan is of high quality," he said, adding that he will return to Wuchuan next year.
