China sweeps 5 golds on first day of Tokyo Paralympics

China on Wednesday won five gold medals, ranking second in the medal standings with 8 medals on the first day of the Tokyo Paralympics.

Medals were awarded in track cycling, swimming and wheelchair fencing.
