The only residential community in Shanghai designated as a COVID-19 medium-risk region on Aug 3 following the emergence of a new case living in the neighborhood will be adjusted to a low risk area on Tuesday, according to the city's pandemic prevention and control authorities.

A male patient who handles cargo flights for a foreign airline company at Pudong International Airport and lives in the community in Pudong's Chuansha town was confirmed as a COVID-19 case on Aug 2. No more related cases have been reported since then.

All areas in the city are classified as low-risk for COVID-19 starting Tuesday.
