With the respect for the Chinese Olympians who have competed for honors in Japan, Li, who has been learning the art of paper-cutting since kindergarten, decided to cut the "golden moments" of the athletes.

"As her parents, we have been very supportive of her interest in paper-cutting," said Li's mother, Yuan Xin. "We took her to an art courses every weekend during her primary school years......

"It's a good thing to have an interest and be willing to devote one's time and energy on it. My daughter has been cutting paper every morning through the Olympic Games over the summer."
