Combining a beautiful outdoor deck and expertly made craft beer, the WAA Riverside Gastropub opened next to Beijing's Liangma River in July.

The restaurant is situated centrally on the river, providing a unique atmosphere in the capital city.

WAA's menu was created by executive chef Ben Chen, who has produced a unique, creative selection of fusion cuisine bringing together Eastern and Western elements as well as classic and modern culinary methods.

Influences from Chinese, Spanish, Italian, French, Mexican, American and Thai cuisines can all be found in the dishes.

Highlights of the venue include 120-inch screens in the main room for viewing music and sports events, and the 12-meter bar which has 27 different beers on tap.

To complement the cuisine, WAA also offers a wide selection of drinks. Diners can taste more than 20 local beers, with four series of craft brews: Sour WA, Sweet WA, Bitter WA and Fresh WA.
