None of the athletes who fail to win a gold medal have anything to be ashamed of. To even qualify for the OG is an amazing feat in itself, marking you as one of the elite of your sport irrespective of your result on the day.
Let them enjoy the experience. If they win a medal, great. If they don't, great try, we know you did your best and better luck in the next Olympic.
