Chongqing confirms 2 new COVID-19 cases

Chongqing has confirmed two new cases of COVID-19, health authorities said on Friday morning.
The Chongqing Health Commission said 22-year-old male living in its Jiangjin district, went to the hospital on Thursday with a fever and was found positive for COVID-19 after a nucleic acid test.
The other patient, a 24-year-old woman who was a close contact, also tested positive. The couple are receiving medical treatment at a designated hospital.
