A photographer captured groups of wild rhesus monkeys (Macaca mulatta) playing with water in Hunan province's Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. Some drank the water, and some just seemed to have fun with each other.

The park, located in Zhangjiajie, was established in 1982 as China's first national forest park. In 1992, it was listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

The average temperature of the park is about 12.8 C. There are more than 751 types of plants and 75 animal species living there.

Rhesus monkeys, a protected species, are often seen in the park during hot summers.
