Cheung Ka Long became Hong Kong's first Olympic fencing gold medalist, beating the pre-match favorite and defending champion Daniele Garozzo 15-11 in the men's individual foil final at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games on July 26. The 24-year-old is only the second athlete to become an Olympic champion while competing for Hong Kong.
