Party expresses thanks for congratulatory centenary messages

The General Office and the International Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee issued a joint announcement on Thursday, expressing sincere thanks for congratulatory messages sent to the Party on its 100th founding anniversary.

The appreciation was conveyed on behalf of the CPC Central Committee and Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, according to the announcement.

It noted that many political parties, governments, parliaments, international organizations, non-governmental organizations and their leaders, ambassadors to China, friendly personages, overseas Chinese and compatriots from the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan have all sent congratulatory messages to the CPC Central Committee and its leader over the 100th anniversary.
