The opening ceremony of an exhibition celebrating the centenary of the Communist Party of China was held in Hong Kong on Saturday morning.

The exhibition, showcasing the achievements of the CPC over the past 100 years and its close bonds with Hong Kong, is currently underway in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in Wan Chai until July 9.

The themed exhibition is one of key events marking the CPC's 100 anniversary in Hong Kong. It is co-organized by the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the HKSAR government, Bauhinia Culture Holdings Limited, and National Museum of China.
