Xi's article on history learning to be published


BEIJING -- An article by Chinese President Xi Jinping on the learning of the histories of the Communist Party of China (CPC), the People's Republic of China, the nation's reform and opening up, and socialist development, will be published Tuesday.
The article by Xi, also general secretary of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, will be carried by this year's 11th issue of the Qiushi Journal.
Stressing the importance of learning these histories, Xi urged all Party members and cadres to take the lead in striving for the two centenary goals and realizing the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
Party members and cadres should guide the public, especially the young people, to be firm believers and followers of socialism with Chinese characteristics and make achievements in fully building a modern socialist China, Xi noted.
Xi said the history learning will help people of all ethnic groups strengthen their sense of identity with the great motherland, Chinese nation, Chinese culture, CPC and socialism with Chinese characteristics.
