A floral spectacle to behold

Visitors to the China Flower Expo can expect to witness a dazzling array of flowers from around the world

The 10th China Flower Expo will take place in Shanghai's Chongming Island on Friday and run through July 2.

The expo, considered the premiere gardening-themed event in China, will span 10 square kilometers and feature a peony-shaped flower field, six pavilions showcasing flowers from around the world and six gardens for floral art.

Designed around the theme of "Blossom with the Chinese Dream", the expo comprises 180 outdoor show gardens, 64 indoor exhibition zones, and two service zones.

Tourists will get to see over 20,000 exhibits, including 1,000 types of new flowers.
