Heavy rain lashes South China's Guangxi

NANNING - Downpours have hit South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, with water levels exceeding warning marks in rivers.
From 8 am Tuesday to 3 pm Wednesday, the cities of Guilin, Liuzhou, Hechi and Hezhou experienced heavy rain, according to the regional hydrological center. Authorities said the water levels in some local rivers will rise by up to four meters in the next few days.
The center has issued a warning for floods, and urged the public to take precautions.
