Man shot dead at Canada's Vancouver International Airport

OTTAWA - A man was shot dead in a shooting near the domestic departure terminal at the Vancouver International Airport (YVR) on Sunday afternoon, according to Canadian Global News.

A witness saw several people dressed in black outside the departure terminal, two of whom fired more than a dozen shots, Global News reported.

In a brief statement on Twitter, the YVR said the airport remains "open and safe with restricted access."

Police are still searching for one or more suspects.
