China donates fodder to Mongolian region
Trucks loaded with fodder donated by China for disaster relief to Mongolia's Omnogovi province have left the border city of Bayannuur in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region. The city government said 150 metric tons of donated fodder had crossed the border. He Lei, director of the city's foreign affairs office, said the Mongolian province has suffered from several blizzards and sandstorms since the winter, resulting in a severe shortage of forage for livestock. It asked Bayannuur for assistance in the form of fodder. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the establishment of sister relations between Bayannuur and Omnogovi province.
