Fishermen in Sanggou Bay of Rongcheng, Weihai, East China's Shandong province are busy harvesting kelp on March 24. Kelp harvest season recently began in Rongcheng, the country's largest kelp producing area, where more than 139,000 mu (9,266 hectares) of kelp are planted.
