The latest expansive support offered by dozens countries to China over the Xinjiang issue at the United Nations venue is adequate to prove that "justice will always prevail" in this world, State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi said on Tuesday

Wang made the remarks when meeting with the visiting Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov in Guilin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Tuesday.

Some forces in the West have put on their shows in recent days to blame and discredit China, but they should know that the time has changed for those who attempt to arbitrarily intervene in China's domestic affairs through fabricating a story or telling a lie, Wang noted.

At the ongoing gathering of the United Nations Human Rights Council, more than 80 countries stated their support to China's justified position regarding the Xinjiang issue, Wang said, adding that the manipulation by the minority forces in the West could by no means represent the international community.

The retrogressive moves by those countries cannot stop China's steps forward and cannot overturn the trajectory of the developing history, Wang added.
