Explosion kills 5, injures 5 in S China's Guangzhou

Five people were killed in an explosion at a building in Mingjing village, Panyu district, Guangzhou, in South China's Guangdong province on Monday, including the person suspected of setting off the blast. Another five were also injured.
The suspect, identified as a person surnamed Hu, aged 59 and a native of Panyu, carried a flammable and explosive substance to the building and ignited it at 10 am on Monday, according to Panyu police.
The injured were sent to the hospital for treatment and police are investigating the case.
