As the early spring weather warms, groups of migratory birds have been spotted near the melting Mudan River in Mudanjiang, Heilongjiang province.

Thanks to ecological protection efforts, the city has become a paradise for the birds. Its environmental quality has improved in recent years, providing a healthy habitat. Residents' awareness of the need for conservation has also been gradually strengthened.
