With inspiration from pop and traditional culture, cultural and creative products referencing landmark moments have become quite popular in recent years, captivating many young people.

Earlier this year, China Media Group, the country's largest broadcaster, launched the first batch of such products, ranging from bowls celebrating the Year of the Ox to notebooks marking China's record-setting manned dive into the Mariana Trench.

On March 13, the group -- which merged China Central Television, China National Radio and China Radio International three years ago -- signed a deal to allow these cultural and creative products to go on sale in Fairy Land Center, a promising project expected to become a new landmark in Beijing.

The center -- which is still being constructed -- will be a commercial complex covering an area of 150,000 square meters located in the Chaoyang district in eastern Beijing.

China Television Industrial Group Co Ltd, a subsidiary of CMG and one of the partners that signed the deal, revealed it has produced or been part of more than 100 popular CCTV television programs, including the Spring Festival Gala, the National Treasure franchise, and The Chinese Poetry Competition.

Products inspired by or related to these TV programs will help "visualize" the Chinese tales told, making the content more accessible to audiences according to the group.
