Shizuishan in Northwest China's Ningxia Hui autonomous region is home to many Great Wall segments that are not widely known.

Built during Emperor Jiajing's reign during the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644), the Great Wall section in Shizuishan's Dawukou district extends more than 43 kilometers. It has 18 smoke towers and 75 wall fragments.

Li Zhigang, a resident of Shizuishan, noted that the wall in this area played an important role as a military bulwark against the Tartars.

Li used drones to record a variety of views of the Great Wall section.
