China calls for respect for Syrian sovereignty, territorial integrity: spokesperson

BEIJING - Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Wang Wenbin on Friday called on all parties concerned to respect Syrian sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity, and avoid adding new complications to the situation in Syria.

Wang made the remarks when responded to a question on reports that the US military had conducted airstrikes against an infrastructure in Syria.
