Construction moves on

The construction of the Beijing sub-city center, a national green development zone and a hub for Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integrated development in Tongzhou district, is a display of scale in this over 800-year-old capital city. This futuristic development, even being referred to as the grand plan of the century, has caught the attention of China and the world. Thanks to the joint efforts of the Beijing Urban Construction Group and other participating units, a brand new building complex is ready. Over a two-year period, two Beijing-based photographers clicked more than 30,000 photographs, some of which are featured here to salute the process and spirit.
