Teacher sets book borrowing record in Chongqing

Zeng Gang, a university teacher of economics in Chongqing municipality, was the No 1 book borrower last year, the Chongqing Library reported. He borrowed 645 books last year, after formulating a "big leap" reading plan on various subjects. [Provided to chinadaily.com.cn]

Recently, a bookworm in Chongqing municipality who borrowed 645 books from the library last year, attracted much attention.

In January, the Chongqing Library released its Readers' Borrowing List 2020, and Zeng Gang, a university teacher of economics captured the No 1 spot.
