The neighborhood, comprised mostly of old houses with insufficient bathrooms and kitchens for home quarantine, was removed from the list of medium-risk regions for the spread of the novel coronavirus as of 6 pm Thursday.
Dozens of volunteers and nursing care providers were dispatched on site, and wheelchairs were prepared for elderly residents.
