China's immigration authorities seize 12 tonnes of narcotics

BEIJING -- More than 12 tonnes of narcotics were seized as part of investigations into drug-related cases by China's immigration authorities in 2020, official data showed Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the authorities found that about 89,000 people were involved in illegal border crossings last year, according to data unveiled at a national meeting on immigration administration.
