Beijing reports 2 new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases

BEIJING - Beijing reported two new locally transmitted COVID-19 cases on Saturday, the municipal health commission said on Sunday.

Both cases, aged 34 and 6, were reported in the city's Shunyi district and were close contacts of previously reported confirmed cases.

Related epidemiological investigations are underway.

No new locally transmitted suspected or asymptomatic COVID-19 cases have been reported in Beijing. No new imported confirmed, suspected, or asymptomatic COVID-19 cases were reported in the city on Saturday, said the commission.
