WASHINGTON - The US Congress has voted to override President Donald Trump's veto of a 740.5-billion-US-dollar defense policy bill.
The Republican-led Senate gathered in a rare New Year's Day session on Friday to overturn Trump's veto, days after the House, controlled by Democrats, voted to override it.
