Light shows spotlight people with disabilities

Madame Tussauds Beijing and Little Big City Beijing on Qianmen Street held a 24-hour light show on Dec 3, the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, to support these individuals.

The physically challenged can visit Madame Tussauds Beijing in December for free and bring one relative for a discount. Little Big City Beijing also offers free admission to the disabled throughout the month.

Visitors can take photos with vivid wax replicas of celebrities from home and abroad at Madame Tussauds Beijing. Little Big City Beijing demonstrates the capital’s epic history and culture with miniature architecture of Beijing’s landmarks and over 6,000 miniature mannequin residents from all walks of life.

The two venues are owned by the United Kingdom-based Merlin Entertainments plc, Europe's biggest visitor attraction operator, which announced that the light show has been held on the same day in its global attractions such as London Eye and Sea Life Sydney.
