Fujian, Hainan have new Party chiefs
Yin Li has been appointed as secretary of the Fujian Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, replacing Yu Weiguo, according to a decision by the CPC Central Committee published on Tuesday. In a separate development, Shen Xiaoming has replaced Liu Cigui as secretary of the CPC Hainan Provincial Committee, according to the decision. New Party chiefs have been announced in Jilin, Hunan, Guizhou and Yunnan provinces recently.

13 arrested, 750 kg of caffeine seized
Police in the Inner Mongolia autonomous region have arrested 13 people and seized 750 kilograms of caffeine in a recent drug ring crackdown. Officers in the city of Baotou received a tip about a drug-dealing group. An investigation revealed that a woman surnamed Gao was leading a local drug dealing network. Gao was found transporting the caffeine in a truck with her elder son at a toll station during a recent raid.
