For herdsmen from Gurvantulga village in North China's Inner Mongolian autonomous region, playing camel polo is one of their favorite pastimes. But in the past, villagers did not have the luxury of playing the game.
Most of the residents of the village, which lies in a vast desert with sparse population, were caught in poverty.
The situation changed when a young man named Baater spotted business opportunity in the milk of camels, his beloved companions. He embarked on a business venture to sell camel milk. Despite initial setbacks, Baater managed to find his way to prosperity and he has gone even further to help his fellow villagers escape poverty.
Let's have a look at how Baater and his fellow herdsmen found their way to prosperity.
