Cutting-edge audiovisual conference set this week
The first China Beijing International Audiovisual Conference will be held in the capital from Thursday to Sunday, displaying the latest technologies and industrial achievements in forums and exhibitions.
The CIAC will be the largest offline exhibition in the industry this year with 11 professional display sections and a total area of 20,000 square meters, said Kong Jianhua, deputy head of Beijing Radio and Television Bureau, at a news conference on Tuesday.
He said around 30 industrial forums will be held, with the participation of some 300 experts and scholars.
The new 5G+8K technology will be the hottest section in the event, with many companies displaying their latest innovations.
Zou Feng, an official at the National Radio and Television Administration, said exhibitions will showcase achievements in the integration of the internet with radio and television.
"The core mission of the event is to boost the high-quality development of the industry," he said. "The technology innovations and services aim to meet demand from the public and adapt to an environment of rapid technological growth."
