A salon to share keywords of the Fifth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was held at Shenyang Normal University on Monday to help international students better understand China.
More than 60 international students from 26 countries, including Russia, the UK, Italy, Canada, Japan, Thailand and South Africa participated in the activity. They came from six universities in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China's Liaoning province, including China Medical University, Shenyang Agricultural University and Shenyang Normal University.

"The proposals for the 14th Five-Year Plan (2021-2025) and the long-range goals for the year 2035 demonstrate China's self-confidence, determination and foresight. It draws a pragmatic and effective grand blueprint for China to embark on a new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way," said Li Hui from information office of Liaoning provincial government.
"International students are the seeds of friendship between China and overseas, and they are the future envoys of Sino-foreign friendship. We want to help international students to better complete their studies and understand China via the salon."
