Members of the media covering this year's China International Import Export were given a treat in the form of mini exhibitions that showcase Shanghai's culture.

Located on the second floor of the media center, the exhibitions were organized by the Shanghai government's news office.

Among the exhibitions was a handicraft area that showcased traditional art forms like paper tearing, crochet knitting, ink ingots and paintings by Jinshan farmers. The organizers also invited the inheritors of these intangible cultural heritages to demonstrate their art forms to media personnel. One of the master artists present was Hua Xingfu, the inheritor of the ancient art form of paper tearing, who left visitors in awe as he deftly created various designs using only his fingers.
