Bundesliga holds marquee event in Beijing

A China-Germany communication event was held in Beijing's Chaoyang district last weekend.

Representatives from the first division German soccer league, the Bundesliga, and the Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Eintracht Frankfurt, FC Schalke 04 and VfL Wolfsburg clubs appeared and interacted with visitors.

Visitors could get a view of Bayern team's treble trophies from this past season — the Bundesliga, the UEFA Champions League and the German Cup — and get an insight of Bayern with a virtual reality tour of the club. Chinese fans got a golden opportunity to experience German soccer culture.

There were also dozens of German product booths, including German cuisines, in conjunction with the event. Visitors could buy fine goods and enjoy exotic delicacies without going to the European country.
