Hong Kong needs science, tech to broaden economic structure: Education leader

Hong Kong needs science, innovation and technology to stimulate and broaden the already-stratified economic structure, Wei Shyy, president of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, told China Daily on Tuesday.
He said what Hong Kong lacks in propelling innovation and technology are indeed things the other cities in the Greater Bay Area can offer.
